Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A type of cannon powerful enough to destroy a TIE/LN starfighter with a single shot was given to the Quesoth species by the Stromma species years before[1] 8 ABY.[2] The weapons were used as anti-air defenses, with their massive forward shield plates protecting them from destruction along their fire-lines. The cannons only had manual targeting.[1]
