Han Solo played Straight Staves on Vandor.
Straight staves was a winning hand of cards[1] in the Corellian Spike[2] version of the game sabacc. It was the second best hand in the game, being beaten only by a Full Sabacc.[3] The criminal Han Solo revealed that his hand contained straight staves during a game of sabacc played at the Lodge on the planet Vandor[1] in 10 BBY.[4] Solo's opponent Lando Calrissian then revealed that he had Full Sabacc, meaning that he won the game.[1]
Behind the scenes
The hand of straight staves was created for the 2018 Anthology film, Solo: A Star Wars Story.[1]
