Steph Littlebird is an artist and indigenous rights activist. She was the cover artist for Dawn of the Jedi: Into the Void when it was reprinted in The Essential Legends Collection.[2]
Littlebird comes from Oregon,[3] a member of the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde and a descendant of the Chinook and Kalapuyan people.[1] Much of her artwork challenges mainstream portrayals of Native people.[3][4]
Littlebird made an animation to show her process for drawing the Into the Void cover, which she shared on her Instagram account.[5]
