"Help me! Help me, please. My child. A piece of shrapnel…"
―Stennie's father as he carried Stennie into the central square[1]

The father of a boy Stennie was a man who carried[1] his[2] son to the central square of the Holy City of Jedha after Stennie's leg was injured by a piece of shrapnel during the Battle of Jedha. Members of the Path of the Open Hand cult were in the square helping people wounded due to the battle. A member of the Path named Phinea had the dad take off his shirt and used it as bindings to bind the boy's leg. As she did, he comforted the boy, and assured him everything would be okay. Howeveer, binding his leg was the only medical attention she could provide at the moment, to the dad's disappointment. Soon after, soldiers contributing to the battle arrived at the square and sent into chaos, leaving the dad desperately crying out for help for Stennie.[1]
