The Stealth-2VX palm shooter was a small, spring powered dart shooter. Manufactured by Prax Arms, this weapon was the smallest known spring-loaded dart shooter, so small that it could easily be hidden in the palm of a Human hand or inside a comlink or droid caller.
Design
Manufactured by Prax Arms, the Stealth-2VX was among the smallest and lightest dart shooters available.[1] The body of the Stealth-2VX was designed to rest within the cupped palm of the wielder, while the weapon's three darts were positioned between the fingers.[2] Because of its small size, the weapon was easily concealable, carried in a pocket or slipped up a sleeve. Some individuals disguised their Stealth-2VXs inside objects such comlinks and droid callers.[1]
The dart shooter could be loaded with three darts at a time, and it had a short range of up to four meters.[1] The weapon itself only weighed a quarter of a kilogram, but came with a wristband that could be used to store an additional six darts. The combined weight of the weapon and the wristband was half a kilogram.[2]
History
The Stealth-2VX was generally employed as an emergency defense weapon, and its noiseless operation made it perfect for operations requiring secrecy and stealth, such as close-range assassinations.[1]
