Statute 312b,[1] also known as the Fourth Constitutional Amendment, was a modification to the Galactic Constitution passed by the Galactic Senate during the Clone Wars. The amendment further granted the Core Worlds, Colonies, and Inner Rim more voting power than planets farther out in the galaxy, accelerating the secession of outlying worlds into the Confederacy of Independent Systems.[2]
