A stathas was a sleek, venomous reptile native to the Mandalore system,[1] located in the region of the galaxy known as the Outer Rim.[2] The stathas was known to use its seemingly harmless appearance to hide its deadly capabilities.[1]
Behind the scenes
The stathas first appeared in the one-hundredth issue of the roleplay magazine Polyhedron, published in October of 1994. As with most of the content from Polyhedron published before 2002, the stathas' place in the continuity of the Star Wars expanded universe is currently ambiguous.
