The Starrunner was a light freighter that belonged to a group of smuggling scavengers in the fourth millennium before the Battle of Yavin. A few years before 3642 BBY, the scavengers looted Yavin 4, removing the sarcophagus of Horak-mul from its grave and carrying it aboard the Starrunner. The ghost of the Sith Lord, however, took his revenge by driving the ship's crew insane and forcing the Starrunner to crash on Hoth.
