Star Wars Adventures 5: The Shape-Shifter Strikes was the fifth installment of Scholastic's Star Wars Adventures series. It consisted of a young reader novel and an accompanying game book for use with the story, and was sent out with Star Wars Adventures Magazine 5 in February 2003.

Darth Tyranus has placed a bounty on the head of Hurlo Holowan, the diabolical droid engineer.
