An interactive Star Wars: TIE Fighter demo of the game Star Wars: TIE Fighter was released in early 1994 as part of the promotion for Dodge Neon series of cars. The demo was based on an unfinished build of the game and consisted of a single 42-minute mission taking place in the Remitik system. The mission was unique to the demo and did not appear in the finished game.

Notes and references

  1. Star Wars: TIE Fighter was released in June 1994 per LFCMlogo "Lucasfilm's Latest" — The Lucasfilm Fan Club Magazine 22
  2. The battle in the Remitik system, featured in the Star Wars: TIE Fighter demo, occurs simultaneously with the Battle of Hoth. The New Essential Chronology dates the Battle of Hoth to 3 ABY, therefore the battle of Remitik must take place in the same year.
