Publisher's summary

In the time before The Force Awakens, where is the Millennium Falcon?!

Less than satisfied with a settled life, Han Solo lands on the idea of reclaiming the Falcon and returning to a life of adventure. The problem is, he can’t find it! After enlisting a less than enthusiastic Chewbacca, the duo embarks upon a quest to reclaim the greatest ship in the galaxy. Standing in their way are a laundry list of rogues who have staked a claim to the Millennium Falcon as well — like Ducain, the villainous scoundrel who stole it!

  2. The official description of Han Solo - Hunt for the Falcon 1 states that it takes place between the theft of the Millennium Falcon by Gannis Ducain – which appears in the comic "Flight of the Falcon, Part 5: Grand Theft Falcon" – and the events of Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens. "Grand Theft Falcon" takes place after the events of "The Crimson Corsair and the Lost Treasure of Count Dooku," as Kix is indirectly mentioned, but before Life Day 1, which Star Wars: Timelines dates to c. 31 ABY. "The Crimson Corsair and the Lost Treasure of Count Dooku" refers to the prologue as taking place 50 years prior to the main story. As the prologue takes place in between "The Wrong Jedi" and Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith – both of which are placed in 19 ABY by Star Wars: Galactic Atlas – the main story, and therefore "Grand Theft Falcon", has to take place around 31 ABY. Galactic Atlas also dates The Force Awakens to 34 ABY. As such Han Solo - Hunt for the Falcon 1 has to take place place sometime between 31 and 34 ABY.
