- "I saw full-left-handed what this Grand Admiral Thrawn did to my world's defenses ten standardcycles ago."
- ―A Sronk Senator
Sronk was a planet in the Oplovis sector of the Outer Rim and the Sronk species homeworld.
History
During the Thrawn campaign, Sronk's defenses were beaten by seven Imperial Dreadnaught-class heavy cruisers. When Grand Admiral Thrawn appeared to return in 19 ABY, the Sronk senator, who had personally witnessed his homeworld's defeat, advised caution to the New Republic Senate.[3]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for the Sronk in relation to the Sronk system.
