Squadron One was one of six squadrons that formed the 204th Imperial Fighter Wing, a fighter wing of the Galactic Empire.[1]

The novel also names squadrons two to five and specifies the squadron commanders Darita, Jothal Gablerone, Teso Broosh and Samran Phesh as those of Squadrons Two, Four, Five and Six respectively. In addition, Victory's Price: An Alphabet Squadron Novel names Squadron One and reveals Wisp as leader of Squadron Three, leaving only Hussor without a specified squadron and only Squadron One without a specified commander. Hussor must therefore be the commander of Squadron One in the events of Shadow Fall.
