The spotted jugadoo, also known as jugaloo,[2] was a species of multicolored elephantine creatures native to the planet Dandelo, from the Dandelo system.
History
In the early days of the Galactic Empire, a rare spotted jugadoo was hunted down by Starhunter's Intergalactic Menagerie.[1] In 15 BBY[3] the beast was freed by C-3PO, R2-D2, and Jann Tosh. The creature mistook C-3PO for a potential mate when the protocol droid tried to mimic its vocalizations in a ruse to protect his friends. Thinking the droid a mate, the beast lovingly cuddled him in its trunk. Threepio was less than amused, though his comrades found the incident quite humorous.[1]
