Spot lanterns were a type of lantern used around in the galaxy including on Kijimi, an icy planet in the Mid Rim Territories as well as used for decoration on the Trailblazer a EML-850 light freighter owned by Jet Kordo, Sliro Barsha and later Kay Vess.[1]
By 3 ABY,[2] an individual named Kona stashed a spot lantern in a container in a ledge in the Thieves' Quarter of Kijimi City.[1]
In 3 ABY,[2] the thief Kay Vess found Kona's stash and stole the lantern.[1]
Behind the scenes
Spot lanterns appeared in the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws, developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. In the game, the player can use the spot lantern found in Kona's stash to customize the appearance of their S57 Cardinal speeder bike.[1]
