Splintered Spire was a high area in the Batuu Wilds region of the planet Batuu.[1] By 34 ABY,[2] a Guavian Death Gang cell led by Quarren pirate Tara Rashin established a base there, until they were rooted out by a droid repair technician running errands for cantina-owner Seezelslak. The droid repair tech came with C-3PO, in search of R2-D2, who had been captured by the Guavian's leader, Tara Rashin. Tara rode appeared riding a AT-RT. More Guavian Death gang members joined the fight, and used their Blasters, while others operated the two E-Webs. But in the end, Tara was defeated when explosive barrels were released from a compartment by R2, and knocked her of of the spire.[1]
Behind the scenes
The game Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge describes Splintered Spire as "One of the highest points in the Batuu wilds. There are still a few landing pods dating back to before the opening of hyperspace routes. Watch your step! They can no longer be safely used."
