The Spine Passage was the central passageway of The Hub in Sector Alpha of the Zirtran's Anchor space station.[1]
It was called so because of large exposed structural rib sections that were visible to both sides. Numerous independent merchants and traders had set up shops and offices along the passageway. A few privateer groups and bounty hunter organizations also maintained offices at select locations along the Spine Passage.[1]
The primary means of locomotion was walking, but the occasional hover-scoot was sometimes seen. In some parts of the passageway, the Geelan, who controlled the space station, had constructed multi-floor sections to and walkways to provide even more floor space.[1]
The Spine Passage provided a varied mixture of merchants of all kind of species dealing in a multitude of interstellar commodities including everything from legal goods to slaves and the like.[1]
