The spilesnark was a type of creature found on Endor,[1] a forest moon in the Outer Rim Territories.[2] During a particularly bleak winter on Endor[1] between 1 BBY and 4 ABY,[3] the Ewok Wicket Wystri Warrick wished to leave his home in Bright Tree Village and see the snow covered forest, but he was confined to the village due to his age. Warrick's friend Teebo tried to cheer his friend up by claiming that the snow would soon thaw and then Warrick would be allowed to swing through the trees like a crazed spilesnark again.[1]
Behind the scenes
A spilesnark was mentioned in "The Kroolok," a short story written by Cavan Scott and George Mann and published in the Life Day Treasury anthology in 2021.[1]
