The spaceport tower was a tower that stood by the Coruscant Jedi Temple. It allowed starships too large for the Temple hangars to dock in the Jedi Temple complex.[1]
Behind the scenes
The tower first appeared in an establishing shot of the 2002 prequel trilogy film Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones,[2] though it was not present in a similar shot in the subsequent film released in 2005, Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith.[3] The building was identified as a spaceport tower in the 2016 reference book Star Wars: Complete Locations.[1]
