Soleks was an Imperial engineer on the planet Hoth during the Galactic War. In 3640 BBY, Soleks was tasked with placing navigational beacons around a volcanic sinkhole located in the Northern Snowdrift Hills in the Clabburn Tundra. Upon arrival, however, Soleks realized the area surrounding the sinkhole was a Wampa hunting ground. He then asked an Imperial hero to place the beacons around it to alert any Imperial troops to stay away.^[1]

Behind the scenes

Engineer Soleks appears in Star Wars: The Old Republic, a 2011 MMORPG produced by BioWare. He is featured in "Eyes on the Enemy," a quest that requires the player to place navigation beacons around the Big Sink on the planet Hoth.^[1]
