Sneem was an individual that operated in the city Canto Bight on the planet Cantonica. They made a deal with the thief Kay Vess that involved them getting the Canto Bight Police Department to drop a case at great cost. This left Vess in debt to Sneem, but after the thief failed to pay any of it off, Sneem checked with various fences in the South Stretch Worker's District and discovered that Vess had nothing to her name but debts.[1]
They then sent a message to Vess titled "Where's the Money" revealing that they knew of her debts and warning that she had three days to pay the debt she owed them before things got "messy." The message was on Vess's datapad in her room in the The Broken Hoof cantina on the day that she was forced to flee from Canto Bight offworld[1] in 3 ABY.[2]
