Snarlvine was a type of vine that grew on the planet Drongar. It had formed multiple clinging clusters in a swamp near the Kondrus Sea of the Jasserak Lowlands.[1] In 20 BBY,[2] the Mirialan Padawan Barriss Offee felt that the Human combat instructor Phow Ji had killed someone. In search of Ji, she emerged from the vegetation, pushing through the clinging clusters of snarlvines, and discovered he had killed seven Separatist soldiers.[1]

Snarlvines first appeared in MedStar I: Battle Surgeons, a 2004 Clone Wars novel written by Steve Perry and Michael Reaves as the first part of the MedStar Duology.[1]
