Han Solo with the Smuggler Flight Pack

The Smuggler Flight Pack was a custom made, armed jetpack built by Han Solo and Chewbacca to assist in their smuggling operations. The large pack included swoop engines and repulsors for atmospheric flight, as well as twin laser cannons from a damaged stock light freighter and a grappling claw for lifting cargo. The pack also included parts from discarded swoops, starfighters, and construction-machinery robotics. The grappling claw could lift up to fifteen metric tons. Solo was sometimes defensive when others criticized the pack's unusual appearance.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Smuggler Flight Pack originated as a toy in the collection of deluxe figures released as part of Kenner/Hasbro's Star Wars: The Power of the Force toy line in July 1996.[2]
