Skulkers was a derogatory nickname for snipers, used by soldiers around the time of the Great Galactic War, such as Zeerid Korr, a former commando pilot with the Galactic Republic. The term may have been particularly applied to members of the elite Imperial sniper corps in the opposing Sith army.[1]
The sniper Vrath Xizor regarded the name as an insult.[1]
