Five years before the Battle of Yavin an Imperial Gozanti-class cruiser engaged the Ghost near an ion storm. A pair of TIE/ln space superiority starfighters deployed by the transport followed the rebel ship while it tried to escape the pursuers in the ion storm, where Sabine Wren was able to shoot them. When only the cruiser remained, it was almost destroyed. But when lightning hit the Ghost, Ezra Bridger managed to recover energy and Sabine managed to completely eliminate the cruiser. When the Ghost left the ion storm, Hera Syndulla jumped to hyperspace to meet with Kanan Jarrus and Garazeb Orrelios.[1]
