- "Not bad for a geologist."
"Not bad for a rebel." - ―Lando Calrissian and Ria Clarr
In 4 BBY,[3] a skirmish occurred in Lothal re-settlement camp 43, nicknamed Tarkintown, when military forces from the Galactic Empire entered Tarkintown in search of defected Imperial Mining Institute analyst Ria Clarr. Clarr, who was on the run after her defection, rallied refugees in Tarkintown to fight back against the invading Imperials, and was aided in her effort by smuggler and gambler Lando Calrissian, who was in the settlement with Devaronian arms dealer Cikatro Vizago. The town’s denizens successfully repelled the Imperials, and Clarr’s efforts to rally them helped inspire the people to defend their albeit forced home at any cost.[1]
