Skavak was a con artist who lived and died long before the time of the Galactic Empire. A number of maps that alleged to depict the long-destroyed Great Jedi Library on the planet Ossus circulated around the black market, many of which traced back to Skavak.[1]

Behind the scenes

Skavak was first mentioned in the 2016 Star Wars: Force and Destiny sourcebook Nexus of Power.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, Skavak was first mentioned in the 2010 novel The Old Republic: Fatal Alliance by the name "Shavak."[2] He first appeared in the 2011 video game Star Wars: The Old Republic, produced by BioWare in 2011.[3]
