Behind the scenes

The Sith Mother's faction first appeared, in "Screecher's Reach," a non-canon short film released as part of the second volume of the Star Wars: Visions series, written by Will Collins and Jason Tammemägi and directed by Paul Young. The animated short, produced by Cartoon Saloon, was released on Disney+[2] on May 4, 2023.[3] While unidentified in the episode, the faction was named in the short's episode guide posted on StarWars.com.[1]
