Sith Eternal officers, also known as Sith Fleet Officers, Sith officers,[1] or Final Order officers,[4] were military officers, predominantly human, that held a position of authority and responsibility in the ground and naval forces of the Sith Eternal.[1][3]
Overview
Sith Eternal officers wore black uniforms with crimson trim around the sleeves, neckline, and breast lapels, and wore caps which displayed the Sith Eternal crest of those loyal to the Sith religion.[1]
History
Many of those who would become Sith Eternal officers[4] started off life as the children of the Sith Eternal cult on the planet Exegol, where they were risen by their cultist parents to become instruments of the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Sidious's revenge.[5] Other individuals who would become Sith Eternal personnel started off life from any of the various planets in the Unknown Regions, while a select few others were the children of former Galactic Empire personnel.[4] As commanding officers in the Sith Eternal military[1] or the crew of Xyston-class Star Destroyers,[5] the Sith Eternal officers trained their entire lives to bring forth a new Sith Empire[1] and return the Sith Order to glory.[4]
Behind the scenes
The Sith Eternal officers first appeared in the 2019 film Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker, the third and last installment of the Star Wars sequel trilogy.[3] The reference book Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary, written by Pablo Hidalgo, gave their official name when the book was released the same day.[1]

- ↑ Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary dates the events of Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker as taking place one year after the "Starkiller Incident." As Star Wars: Galactic Atlas dates the Starkiller Incident to 34 ABY, it can be deduced that the events of Star Wars: Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker take place in 35 ABY and that the Battle of Exegol took place in 35 ABY as well.
