Sith Emperor, or Emperor of the Sith, was the sovereign ruler of the Sith Empire.^[4] At least three Sith Lords ruled as Sith Emperor: Vitiate,^[2] Darth Vowrawn,^[5] and Darth Krayt,^[4] while Darth Acina ruled as Sith Empress.^[6] After what many believed to be the death of Vitiate, Darth Malgus declared a "New Empire" and claimed the Sith throne.^[3]
