A singularity was a natural phenomenon.[1] An Imperial asteroid base developed a gravity superweapon known as the collector-repulsor array. The G-waves it gave off resembled those of a singularity.[2] Korpil scientists tested artificial singularities during the Galactic Civil War.[1]
