"A genuine silvercore speeder. One of only two dozen in existence."
―Heelt, to the two Snivvians[1]

The silvercore speeder was a type of speeder that was silver in color. The shiny speeder had a single brown seat, an open top, a windshield, and a frontal grille. A rounded, smooth vessel, the silvercore had some lighter gray sections on its side as well as a black outline of a square. According to the Gran criminal Heelt,[1] by 3 ABY,[2] only two dozen silvercore speeders were in existence, with one owned by Boss Gyuti of the Black Sun criminal syndicate.[1] That year,[2] Heelt stole Gyuti's speeder, which he intended to sell to two Snivvians in Ord Mantell City[1] on the planet Ord Mantell.[3] Heelt kept the silvercore underneath a brown tarp prior to the meeting with the buyers. However, before the deal could be completed, the Ubese bounty hunter Boushh and his crew killed the Snivvians, as well as Heelt and his forces, before they reclaimed Gyuti's speeder and returned it to him.[1]

Behind the scenes

A silvercore speeder first appeared in War of the Bounty Hunters – Boushh 1, a one-shot comic issue within the Star Wars: War of the Bounty Hunters crossover event. The issue was written by Alyssa Wong, illustrated by David Baldeón, and published by Marvel Comics[1] on September 15, 2021.[4] Prior to the issue's release, the speeder was included in a preview for the issue posted on StarWars.com on September 8 of that year.[5]
