Sigourney Weaver is an actress and producer who is set to portray Colonel Ward in The Mandalorian and Grogu.[2] Weaver confirmed the role in an interview with Deadline Hollywood.[1] She was delighted to join the Star Wars universe and, in an interview, expressed a love for the works of Director Jon Favreau and The Mandalorian tv series.[3]
