In 4 ABY,[2] after the Battle of Endor, the New Republic were involved in fighting at[1] the Expansion Region astronomical object[3] Yinchorr. While at her desk aboard her flagship—the Acclamator-class battleship Lodestar—General Hera Syndulla was delivered an intelligence brief by her[1] aide[4] Stornvein which mentioned the fighting at Yinchorr had developed into a siege situation. Syndulla read the brief and mentally noted about its contents.[1]

The siege at Yinchorr was mentioned in the 2019 novel Alphabet Squadron written by Alexander Freed as the first installment in the Star Wars: Alphabet Squadron trilogy.[1]
