The Shrike was a Imperial-class Star Destroyer in the Imperial Navy during the Galactic Civil War.[2] Like other ships of its class, the Shrike was 1,600 meters in length[3] and manufactured by Kuat Drive Yards.[1]
During a patrol just outside of the Corellian system, it encountered the smuggling vessel Boolarg, owned by the Sullustan Gaber Rollobad. The Shrike ordered the Boorlag to prepare to be boarded, but because the ship was carrying illegal goods, Rollobad attempted to outrun the Star Destroyer. Rollobad ultimately failed to escape, and the Boolarg was shot down by the Shrike's complement of TIE fighters. Rollobad escaped in a life pod and landed on the planet Corellia. After encountering a group of other individuals on the planet, Rollobad falsely claimed that he was forced to flee his ship due to a power plant overload, rather than explain the role of the Shrike.[2]

The Shrike was mentioned in a roleplaying adventure seed in the 2003 Star Wars Roleplaying Game sourcebook Coruscant and the Core Worlds, published by Wizards of the Coast.[2]
