A shortblaster was a single-shot weapon that fired explosive projectiles. The hunter Nysorly carried a modified model of shortblaster that was rigged to carry two projectiles at a time, as opposed to just one. She used her shortblaster to hunt and kill a molsume on the planet Ithor. She would then use it on a speeder belonging to Grummgar.[1]
