Shko Emouk

Shko Emouk was a non-binary[2] Tholothian Jedi Master of the Jedi Order during the High Republic Era where they served as head of the Jedi temple on[1] the Mid Rim planet[3] Malastare. When Jedi younglings from[1] the Outer Rim planets[3] Eriadu and Sullust were brought to the Malastare temple to keep them safe from the Nihil pirates Stormwall, Emouk spoke with former Jedi Padawan Lula Talisola about the latter's decision to leave the Order.[1] Emouk wielded a yellow-bladed lightsaber.[4]

Behind the scenes

Shko Emouk appeared in the seventh issue of the 2023 comic series Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures. The issue was written by Daniel José Older, illustrated by Harvey Tolibao, and published by Dark Horse Comics as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III on July 10, 2024.[5] Older later confirmed on Twitter that Emouk was non-binary.[2]
