Shinya Ohira is an anime artist and filmmaker who is the writer, director, character designer, and key animator for "BLACK," a non-canon short film that will be released on October 29, 2025 as part of the third volume of Star Wars: Visions. Ohira has previously worked on Akira and Spirited Away.[1]
