The Shining Pathway was a cathedral ship that was used by the Galactic Republic during the Pius Dea Era of anti-alien crusades by the Republic, which was under the sway of the Pius Dea religion at the time. The name of the starship continued to evoke dread in the residents of the worlds it had imprisoned, long after the end of the Pius Dea Era.[1]
