A shimmerbird tongue robe was a type of brown robe made from the tongues of shimmerbirds. Magistrate of the Corporate Alliance Passel Argente wore a shimmerbird tongue robe with a crocheted hood and the brooch of Luristan[1] while attending a meeting of the Separatist Council on the planet Geonosis[2] in 22 BBY.[3]
Behind the scenes
A shimmerbird tongue robe first appeared in the 2002 prequel trilogy film, Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones.[2] The prop was first identified in the 2017 reference book Star Wars: The Visual Encyclopedia.[1]
