- "You see Shepp? Over there by the band. She's an old-timer. Knows everyone."
- ―A bartender at Chalmun's Cantina
Shepp was a human who lived in the city of Mos Eisley on the planet Tatooine and visited Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina there in 3 ABY. While Shepp was at the cantina, the thief Kay Vess approached her and asked who the best gunslinger in the area was. Shepp listed several dead gunslingers she knew before pointing Vess in the direction of Sheriff Quint Cresadde, although without providing Cressade's name.
Biography
- "There was that one pirate who use to run with the Hutt Cartel. She might still be kicking?"
"Do you know where I could find her?"
"The Hutts up in the southern hills might know. Doubt they'd ever tell you."
"Yeah. Well, thanks anyway." - ―Shepp and Kay Vess
Shepp was a human who lived in the city of Mos Eisley on the desert planet Tatooine. By 3 ABY,[2] she had come to know many people in the area including the gunslingers Mig Dryko, Vok'ta the Knife, the Taho twins, and Hoss.[1] In 3 ABY,[2] Shepp visited Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina in Mos Eisley and stood by the stage while a band was playing.[1]
While Shepp was at the cantina, the thief Kay Vess entered in search of an expert gunslinger to train her and asked one of the bartenders where to find the fastest gunslinger in Mos Eisley. Once the bartender was satisfied that Vess was only looking to talk rather than fight, they directed her to Shepp. When Vess then asked the old-timer who the best gunslingers were, she listed Dryko, Vok'ta, and the twins, but noted that all of them were dead, then asked if Vess knew Hoss.[1]
When the thief revealed that Hoss had also recently perished, Shepp contemplated that blaster hands rarely lasted long on Tatooine and then brought up the Weequay gunslinger Quint Cresadde, although not by name. Recalling that Cresadde had once run with the Hutt Cartel as a pirate, she suggested that the Hutt-affiliates in the hills south of Mos Eisley might know the pirate's location, but warned Vess it was unlikely they would share the information. Vess then thanked Shepp for the information and left, eventually tracking down Cressade based on Shepp's tip and learning from the Weequay.[1]
Personality and traits
- "Are you Shepp? I heard you know all the best gunslingers around here."
"Oh, sure. Let's see. There's Mig Dryko. He's dead. Vok'ta the Knife. She's dead. The Taho twins. Dead. You know Hoss?"
"Uh, yeah. He's dead."
"Blaster hands don't last long out here." - ―Kay Vess and Shepp
Shepp had light skin and brown eyes.[1] By 3 ABY,[2] Shepp had gray hair and was considered and "old-timer" by the bartender who directed Vess to her.[1]
Equipment
At the cantina, Shepp wore a dark gray shirt, lighter gray pants, a black belt, and black boots.[1]
Behind the scenes
Shepp appeared in the 2024 Massive Entertainment video game, Star Wars Outlaws. Interacting with her is optional, but is required to complete "The Gunslinger" expert intel quest chain.[1]
