The shatterax was a creature in the galaxy, one of which was used in a gladiator pit.[1]

Behind the scenes

According to Star Wars Insider 149, the shatterax monster was set to appear in the comic series Star Wars: Darth Maul—Son of Dathomir.[1] However, the scene did not appear in the final comic. The Insider article, written by Daniel Wallace, was based on rough story notes that he had received for the comic.[2]
