Shak Los (c. 3625 BBY)[2] was a Selkath male antiques dealer who sometimes used less than legal means to acquire his wares.[1]
Biography
Born to a wealthy merchant family on Manaan, Shak was initially reluctant to join the family business, until his mother presented him with an ultimatum; either join, or be cut off. Reluctantly he joined his father's business, however, with the help of one of his father's business partners, began to grow his own business on the side. Meanwhile, he also learnt to deal with less legal methods of doing business. Eventually, he amassed enough wealth to buy out his father's exporting business, changing it from exporting to antiques dealing.
Behind the scenes
The player only interacts with Shak Los if they sided with the Sith Empire. In that, whilst the player is searching for information about Kolto deposits on Manaan, Shak will steal the data and ask the player to kill The Conservator, who has taken over an old city he want to steal artefacts from. After doing so, the play has the option to kill Shak, if they wish, or let him free.[3]
