The Shadow Syndicate was a criminal organization led by Godoba the Hutt, the owner of the Club Vertica Casino, Vaarko Tiyai, the Cho'mash of the Nar Shaddaa Labor Alliance, and DX-TX, the primary hub of the DX annihilator network. Agent Maro Vizhen of the Imperial Diplomatic Service was responsible for gathering these three notorious criminals and making them allies for the reconstituted Sith Empire. Ukabi, Nar Shaddaa's leader of the Exchange, refused to join the Syndicate.
