This rancor was used as a mount by the Jedi Master, Shaak Ti, on Felucia. Shaak Ti rode the creature during her encounter with Darth Vader's secret apprentice, Starkiller, to lead the assassin to the Ancient Abyss. There, the rancor was ensnared by the tentacles of the Abyss's megasarlacc and swallowed.
