Sevinte cadence

The sevinte cadence was a type of cadence where the strikes were carried out within a hands-breadth of the opponent. In the "Introduction to the Lightsaber" section of the The Jedi Path: A Manual for Students of the Force, the Jedi Battlemaster Skarch Vaunk wrote that a Jedi Initiate was not ready for a real lightsaber unless they completed sevinte cadence.^[1]
