The Servo Seven was originally a group of seven droids, who believed that droids' second-class status in galactic society was unfair. The droids seized a droid manufacturing plant and held it for two weeks, shutting down production to bring attention to their cause. The droids were captured and deactivated
The symbol of this cause was a stylized gear with the number 7 on it. This symbol was used by pro-droid groups, as well as anti-droid groups, who would use it to sign their violent acts in an attempt to discredit droid rights movements.
