A sensor net was a piece of technology used as a detection device.[1][2]
Sensor nets were created by overlapping sensor fields in order to detect an object passing through them.[1] Ranging in coverage size, they could be used on terrestrial locations such bases and camps, or be deployed across entire systems.[1]
Mon Calamaris first line of defense was a sensor net produced by sensor buoys that scanned hyperspace routes leading to the planet.[1] The planet of Onderon likewise had a system wide net that had to be deactivated on the planet by saboteurs before the Alliance could destroy Jyrenne Base.[2]
While on Dellalt, Han Solo inadvertently triggered a sensor net, alerting J'uoch's mining camp to his presence.
