Sense of the Veshet

The Sense of the Veshet was a Nightsister technique that allowed the user to distinguish scents carried by the wind one hundred meters away, and to see on a moonless pitch black night.^[1] The name of this technique referred to the veshet, a species of large rodents with a keen sense of smell.^[2]
