The Senate Building Reception Hall on Coruscant hosted a welcoming reception for the new cohort of senators of the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances under interim Chief of State Padnel Ovin. Representatives of nearly every planet of the Alliance were gathered in the hall of the Senate Building, and the arrival of the newly inducted Senator Rokari Kem commanded the greatest attention. Ovin was surprised by the luxuriousness of the event in the Senate's reception area and asked his Chief of Staff, Wynn Dorvan, about its cost. Server droids distributed glasses of drinks such as sparkling blumfruit juice to attendees.[1]
